AI Tools I Love
Jun 7, 2025
Supercharging Design, Content & Web Creation
As a designer and creator, I’ve spent years curating a tech stack that helps me move fast without compromising on quality. Whether I’m building web tools, designing visuals, or managing client projects, these are the AI-driven platforms I return to again and again.
From design to deployment, these are the tools I use daily.
🎨 Canva — General Design
Canva’s Magic Studio tools (like Magic Design, Magic Write, and background remover) make it ridiculously easy to create professional content quickly. I use it for social visuals, mockups, client proposals — even pitch decks. It’s my default design tool when I need speed and polish.
🧠 ChatGPT — Content Generation
This one’s obvious: ChatGPT fuels everything from brainstorming ideas and writing copy to debugging code and structuring site architecture. I’ve even built full tools around it (like HamsterAi and my education bots). It’s not just a writing assistant — it’s a collaborator.
⚒️ Pickaxe — AI Tool Building
I use Pickaxe to create AI-powered apps and tools, many of which I now integrate directly into my site or offer to clients. Think interactive chat assistants, AI form handlers, or content workflows. Pickaxe makes it possible to build with AI — without being a full-stack developer.
✍️ Notion — Project Management
Every project, idea, and launch plan lives in Notion. It’s where I track client tasks, document builds, and plan content (including this blog). Paired with automation and templates, it becomes a command center for creative work.
🌐 Framer — Web Design
If you’ve visited beckettr.com, you’ve seen Framer in action. It lets me build beautiful, fully responsive, production-ready websites — fast. Its live previewing and CMS features are perfect for modern creators who want design flexibility with real performance.
💳 Stripe — Payment Integration
For anything involving monetization — client invoicing, product sales, subscriptions — Stripe is my go-to. It’s clean, reliable, and deeply integrated with many tools I already use.
🧵 Reddit — Communication
Reddit isn’t just for memes. I use it for real-time feedback, trend scouting, and community Q&A — especially in design, AI, and productivity subreddits. It’s often where new ideas take shape or tools get discovered.
📦 AppSumo — Software Discovery
AppSumo is where I find affordable, cutting-edge tools before they blow up. A lot of what ends up in my stack started here. It’s like a secret tech playground for creators.
